Chen Ziqiang performs the Xinjia Yilu Routine

Chen Ziqiang performs the Xinjia Yilu routine from the Chen Family style of Tai Chi Chuan. Chen Ziqiang is the oldest son of Chen Xiaoxing and one of the nephews of Chen Xiaowang. Like many of the masters from Chen Village, Ziqiang started his training in the village’s family art.

Chen Ziqiag is a 20th generation member of the Chen family. He can trace his roots back to the famous 9th generation master Chen Wangting, who is the founder of the Chen Family style of Tai Chi Chuan. Chen Ziqiang is also the great grandson of the legendary 17th generation master Chen Fake.

Chen Ziqiang manages and is the head instructor of one the largest Tai Chi Chuan schools in Chenjiagou. He has taught many Tai Chi enthusiasts in China and in other places such as the United States and Europe.
