Fu Wing Fei Performs Fu Style Tai Chi Sword

Fu Wing Fei (1913-1993) demonstrates the straight sword form of the Fu Family style of Tai Chi. The Fu style of Tai Chi Chuan features elements of Bagua, and the Tai Chi styles of Chen, Yang and Sun. This Tai Chi sword form reflects all of these elements as well. Fu Wing Fei is the son of the style’s founder Fu Chen Sung (1872–1953). Fu Wing Fei studied his family’s system of martial arts for over 40 years directly under the guidance of his father.

Fu Wing Fei is the son of the style’s founder Fu Chen Sung (1872–1953). Fu Chen Song learned Chen style of Tai Chi when he was a boy. Later he learned Bagua from Chen Ting  Hua and Ma Gui, a disciple of  Yin Fu who was a famous student of the founder of Bagua dong Hai Chuan. He also learned the Yang style of Tai Chi from Yang Cheng Fu, and the Sun style of Tai Chi from Sun Lu Tang. It was mainly from these styles that he created the Fu style of Tai Chi Chuan.

Below is a DVD by Victor Shenglong Fu, who is the son of Fu Wing Fei. Victor Fu created this method called Golden Form Tai Chi, a Fu style healing exercise which he calls a revolutionary approach to learning authentic Tai Chi.
