Li Bingci Performs Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan – Part 2

Li Bingci demonstrates the second part of the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan in this Vintage film footage. Li Bingci learned the style from the Wu style Tai Chi master Yang Yuting, who was a disciple of Wang Maozhai.

Wu Quanyou (1834-1902) originated the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan. Wu learned Tai Chi Chuan from Yang Luchan, as well as his son Yang Banhou. Wang Maozhai was one of Wu Quanyou’s three main disciples.

In 1988, Li Bingci and Huifen Men created the Wu style 45 Form Tai Chi Competition routine. Li Bingci has taught the Wu style to students of Tai Chi Chuan from all over the world. He has written books and produced videos on the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan, and has been been instrumental in promoting and furthering the legacy of this great art.
