Ma Yueh Liang (1901 – 1998) demonstrates the Spear Form from the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan. Although this video is old and grainy, it is an important historical documentation of the Wu Tai Chi Spear. If a clearer version comes along, I will post it here! Ma Yueh Liang was a senior disciple of Wu Chien Chuan. He began his training in Wu Tai Chi Chuan from Wu Chien Chuan at the age of 18.

Ma Yueh Liang married Wu Ying Hua, the daughter of Wu Chien Chuan in 1930. Together they taught and practiced well into their elderly years, teaching thousands of students. They have a son Ma Jiang Bo and an adopted daughter, Shi Mei Lin. Their children carry on the traditions of the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan passed to them by their parents, teaching the art to new generations.

Below is a book written by Ma Yueh Liang and his wife, Wu Ying Hua, on the subject of the Wu Family style of Tai Chi Chuan. A must have for the Wu style practitioner!
