Tung Kai Ying also taught Tai Chi for his father to students in Singapore and Malaysia. In 1971 Tung Kai Ying moved to the city of Los Angeles in the United States where he taught many students. Tung Kai Ying has since taught thousands of students Tai Chi Chuan, spreading his family’s art through classes, seminars, and training camps around the world. Many of his students have started Tai Chi schools around the globe.
