Yang Sau Chung Film
Possibly the only known film of Yang Sau Chung (1910~1985) demonstrating the traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan form. In this video you can see more clearly the movements of Yang Sau Chung as he performs the postures of his family’s Tai Chi style.
Yang Sau Chung was a 4th generation Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan master, and the eldest son of the famous Yang Cheng Fu. His lineage and influence has been spread internationally through the teachings of his disciples, Chu Gin Soon, Ip Tai Tak, and Chu King Hung.
Below is an excellent book on the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan. Written by Douglas Wile, it covers oral instruction that was handed down through the generations of the Yang family, training songs and verses, commentaries to the T’ai-chi Classics, as well as Yang family legends.

One of the few times I have seen Yang Cheng Fu Tai Chi done as I imagined it should have been, and that was passed down to me via the Erle Montaigue Taijiworld training methods.

I really enjoyed watching Yang Sau Chung performing this excellent Tai Chi and makes me realise I have so much to learn about Tai Chi.
