Zhou Zhong Fu – Wu Style Tai Chi Saber

Zhou Zhong Fu performs a Saber Form from the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan. He is a 5th generation master of the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan through the lineage of Ma Yueh Liang. Zhou Zhong Fu also holds the title of 5th Duan in Chinese Martial Arts.

Zhou Zhong Fu learned from Fei Guoqing, a 4th generation master of the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan and a student of the famous Ma Yueh Liang. His father, Zhou Qing Xian, is also a student of Ma Yueh Liang. Zhou Zhong Fu teaches at his school in Shanghai and many of his students have been winners at Chinese Martial Arts tournaments.

Below is a book on the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan by Yang Jwing-Ming. It features translations of many of the classic Wu style Tai Chi text, poems, and songs that were used in transmitting the art down family lineages.

  1. The may be more video of Zhou Zhan Fang pushing hands with Ma Yueh-liang than with any other student. Also Zhou Zhan Fang is in the family picture in the Chinese version of the Ma Yueh Liang and Wu Ying Hua sword book. Zhou Zhan Fang is featured in several of the Gerald Sharp videos, especially POWER PUSH HANDS.

  3. Had the honour of meeting Master Zhou in Shanghai last year. He is highly skilled in the Arts and a very kind and generous teacher. Enjoyed the Wu Style Tai Chi Straight Sword and Fast Form practice with Master Zhou.
