Zhu Tiancai – Chen Tai Chi Laojia Er Lu (Part 1)

Zhu Tiancai demonstrates the first section of the Laojia Er Lu routine from Chen style Tai Chi Chuan. The Laojia Er Lu is the 2nd routine that is taught in the Chen style of Tai Chi Chuan. This routine is characterized by fast and slow movements, with a mixture of energetic as well as gentle expressions of power.

Zhu Tiancai is a 19th generation lineage holder of the Chen style of Tai Chi Chuan. He started learning Chen Tai Chi at a young age from two famous Chen masters, Chen Zhaopi and Chen Zhaokui. Zhu Taincai is one of the Four Tigers, a phrase which was coined by a journalist in the early 1980’s to describe the four top Chen Tai Chi practitioners at that time. The phrase has since stuck, and now Zhu Tiancai, Chen Xiaowang, Chen Zhenlei, and Wang Xi’an are always referred to as the Four Tigers Of Chen Village.

Below is an exceptional DVD showing Zhu Tiancai demonstrating the Laojia Er Lu routine. This is a must have for the serious practitioner of the Chen style of Tai Chi Chuan. Click on the photo below to see more!
