Zhu Tiancai – Chen Tai Chi Laojia Er Lu (Part 3)

Zhu Tiancai demonstrates the third section of the Laojia Er Lu routine from Chen style Tai Chi Chuan. The Laojia Er Lu is the 2nd routine that is taught in the Chen style of Tai Chi Chuan. This routine is known for it’s mixture of fast and slow movements, and energetic as well as softer expressions of power.

Zhu Tiancai started his training in the Chen Family style of Tai Chi Chuan at an early age. He is one of the 19th generation lineage holders of Chen Tai Chi Chuan. The first teachers of Zhu Tiancai were two famous Chen Tai Chi masters, Chen Zhaopi and Chen Zhaokui. Zhu Taincai is known as one of the Four Tigers, a term which used by a journalist in the early 1980’s when he was describing the four top Chen Tai Chi practitioners at that time. The name has stuck since then, and now Zhu Tiancai, Chen Zhenlei, Chen Xiaowang, and Wang Xian will always referred to as the Four Tigers Of Chen Village.
