Fong Pak Shing performs Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan
Fong Pak Shing (1923-2008) performs the Long Form of the traditional Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan. Fong Pak Shing studied the Yang style of Tai Chi with the famous Tung Ying Chieh, who was a main disciple of Yang Cheng Fu. The movements of Fong Pak Shing performing the Long Form very much relflect the spirit and quality of the Tai Chi of Tung Ying Chieh.
Being dedicated and training hard, Fong Pak Shing became a disciple of Tung Ying Chieh. He also learned Liu He Ba Fa Chuan (Six Harmonies Eight Methods Boxing) from Liang Zipeng. He settled in Hong Kong where he taught the arts of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and Liu He Ba Fa Chuan. Students of Tai Chi traveled from all over the world to study with him.
One of Fong’s students taught the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan in the United States. Beverly Lui Wong taught the art the same way her teacher had taught her. She even made an instructional video of the Yang Long Form. Click on the image below to see more about her video.
