Yang Zhenguo Demonstrates Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan

A rare video of Yang Zhenguo, who is the youngest son of the famous Tai Chi master Yang Chengfu. In this video, he demonstrates a shortened version of the traditional Yang Tai Chi Chuan form. The video was filmed at his home in Handan, China, in 2005.

Yang Zhenguo has been actively teaching and promoting his family’s style of Tai Chi Chuan for many years. However, he maintains a much lower profile then his better known brother, Yang Zhenduo.

Born in 1928, Yang Zhenguo began learning Tai Chi at an early age from family members. Unfortunately himself and his two other brothers, Yang Zhenduo and Yang Zhenji, were all too young when their father died to have learned anything significant from him.

This is a must-have book for the practitioner of the Yang style or any Tai Chi enthusiast. Author Douglas Wile translates and gives his commentary on some of the most important teachings of the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan that were passed down by songs, poems, and the oral traditions. The book includes photographs of Yang Cheng Fu. Click on the image below to see more!
