Feng Zhiqiang Performing Chen Taijiquan Er Lu (Pao Chui)
In this Tai Chi video, Feng Zhiqiang (1928-2012) performs the Chen style set Xinjia Er Lu, commonly known as Pao Chui. This is the same set that Feng learned from Chen Fake. Feng Zhiqiang was an 18th generation Chen style Taijiquan grandmaster, who was a top student of the famous 17th generation Tai Chi master Chen Fake.
Feng Zhiqiang was an 18th generation Chen style Taijiquan grandmaster, who was a top student of the famous 17th generation Tai Chi master Chen Fake. Feng Zhiqiang also learned Tong Bei Quan from Han Xiao Feng, and Xinyi Quan from Hu Yaozhen.
It was from his experiences from Chen’s Tai Chi Chuan as well as the Xinyi Quan that Feng creating what he called the Chen Shi Xinyi Hunyuan style of Tai Chi Chuan. Feng Zhiqiang also was the creator of the 48 Movement Form of the Chen style, and a set of 36 Silk Reeling Exercises that practitioners of all styles can benefit from.
