Zhu Tiancai – Chen Tai Chi Laojia Er Lu (Part 2)

Zhu Tiancai demonstrates the second section of the Laojia Er Lu routine from Chen style Tai Chi Chuan. The Laojia Er Lu form is the 2nd routine that is taught within the Chen style of Tai Chi Chuan. The routine of Laokia Er Lu is characterized by fast and slow movements along with a mixture of energetic as well as gentle expressions of power.

Zhu Tiancai is one of the 19th generation lineage holders of the Chen style of Tai Chi Chuan. He began learning Chen Tai Chi at a young age from two of the famous Chen masters, Chen Zhaopi and Chen Zhaokui. Zhu Taincai is also known as one of the Four Tigers, a name that was given by a journalist in the early 1980’s to describe the four top Chen Tai Chi practitioners at that time. Since that time Zhu Tiancai, Wang Xi’an, Chen Xiaowang, and Chen Zhenlei are now always referred to as the Four Tigers Of Chen Village.
