Wu Yen Hsia performs Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan
Wu Yen Hsia (1930–2001) demonstrates her family’s Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan. Wu Yen Hsia (Wu Yanxia) was the granddaughter of the famous Wu Chien Chuan, and daughter to Wu Kung Yi.
Wu Yen Hsia learned the Wu Family style of Tai Chi Chuan from her father, and also helped with the teaching of her father’s students. She held the position of senior instructor of the Wu family Tai Chi Chuan Association from 1997 until 2001 when she passed away.
The Wu Family style of Tai Chi Chuan is probably the 2nd most popular style of Tai Chi Chuan in the World. Thanks to efforts of great teachers such as Wu Yen Hsia, students across the globe now have access to quality instruction and the benefits of Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan!
